  • Glass cutting

I am rebuilding a tank and wanted some 3/8" glass cut. The sheet is 6'x23 3/4", and I want it to be 6x18". I would like to cut the fall off for a euro brace. Does anyone have a preferred shop they use? Or free time and a wet saw?

I doubt they would be able to saw tho. Only one cut is large. The rest are small. 2" wide and the ends need 3/8" taken off of them.

Seems like it less than a buck a cut for 1/4" glass that I had cut down for a desktop

I use Binswanger Glass over here in Webster. They made 3/16" panels for me to use on my 6ft 135 as tops for about $67 - $68 with a with the cuts smoothed off so as not to cut one's fingers. Give them a call: 281-480-2811.

I called and they said 10$ a cut. I think that is reasonable, given the piece is 6' long.

I did forget to ask if the beveled the edges tho. I am not sure if that is included. I could hear their other line ringing and did not was to keep her on the line too long.
