these two, side by side, anyone tell me if i should worry?

Hard to tell from the photo, but has the one on the right partially extruded its stomach? I know they do that to eat somethings--but I have never seen a photo of sea stars doing it--so I'm not sure if that is what I'm seeing in the photo? Is the brown spot due to a thin membranous sack--or just a discoloration?

Not a difference. Ecinoderms can extend their stomach out to dine. Nothing to see here :)
