Skimmer question

What do you guys use to break up the micro bubbles? I fired up mine and it created a lot and I don't feel like experimenting to find the right pads that works the best.

You might have to mod the sump to make baffles. Micro sock as padding help some.

Is your skimmer in sump or hang on? and what model of skimmer do you have. Baffles help and if you can re-direct the flow of the skimmer away from the return pump (in sump) that gives the bubbles a chance to release to the surface. i control mine with the water level, by keepint the water level close to the release of the skimmer there is little chance for the skimmer water to splash and create more bubbles.

just give it a few days. Usually it goes away by self.

My skimmer is out of the sump. I have the outlet dumping over LR that separates the sand from the return pumps.

Micron sock worked like a charm.
