  • Jbj vs oceanic biocube

I'm about to move to a 3rd story apt. Not really planning on bringing my 55 gal reef set up with me. I was looking at setting up a 29 gal. Any advice on which one I should o with?

both are good, i don't really think you can go wrong with either or. I would recommend the MH version if you do get either or. JBJ is the only one with an led version if thats something you think you'd be interested in.

My main concern about the MH set up is the heat. I've heard good ad bad things about the ventalation on the cubes. I might just stick with the led. I had a 125 gal at my parentswith metal halide...i loved that tank.

How does the quality of the filtration differ? I really don't want to set up another sump. I've heard jbj is awesome when it comes down to it.

im not sure about great. They are both all in ones. Very limited in what you can do.

Have you also looked into getting that 25 gallon ecoxotic tank? its also an AIO but rimless open top. Pretty nice looking.

Yeah, both units are basically the same. I do personally think jbj looks better.
