  • Finally with some corals! I have no idea what the names are for any of them though. I have a small yellow tang and 6 line wrasse in the tank now too.

This is what Miggy gave me as a test coral for my water last week.

I just picked these up today from Josiah. They were put into the tank no more than 30min ago, so I'll take another pic of them in the morning!

This last pic has a few things in it, some mushrooms, a leather finger and.. no idea what else.

Giving these a week or so to see how they're doing before getting more.

    • Cool first is a trumpet coral. Second looks like a frogspawn and third is a hammer.

            • What's a good coral glue to use? I picked up probably 8 small frags from Semper yesterday and thought I had them nicely secured on rocks. They fell off and I can't seem to find them! I'm going to have a random mushroom, Xenia and devils hand growing somewhere

              • You can use super glue gel . I get it at dollar store.

Or if you want to spend a little more

You can get the ecotech reef glue,

                • +1. I use super glue also.

Make sure you get the gel b/c that other stuff is worthless.

Lol, one way to avoid using super glue all together is to get nothing but mother colonies! :)

                  • Just got my media in the mail, so I'm now running two TLF phosban 150 reactors. One has GFO, other has Purigen. I have them connected in a series with a small maxijet pump. Running through Purigen first, then through GFO and back into the tank. I also had a handful of extra sponges come in so it flows through triple the sponge for each reactor.

                    • Sweet!

I really need a GFO reactor. Got a bit of hair algae.

                      • I did have algae, but it's been pretty cleaned up lately, even with like 0.2+ phosphates, with all my snails and mr yellow tang. I only leave white lights on for 5hours a day... im considering bumping it up to 7-8hours a day. I'll need to compensate for the phosphates hopefully dropping.

                        • Need some ID's please! I just go around and window pick without really knowing what they are.
