Are those 1 watt LEDS?

should have sprung for the 1w, those smd probably won't be enough for your nem.

i was thinking bout getting the 1w leds but these were free so giving it a try. i was thinking about taking out the t5 and adding antoher row of these led

If it's a T5HO then I would not, if it's the NO then I don't see where it would be any different.

right now im running those led + the t5 aqua glo 8w 18000k + 12" blue led strip 5050 smd

I would probably run all 1w LEDs since you are trying to keep corals/nems but yeah

how many of the 1w would you add to it? thats a plate coral at the bottom corner, but im planning on getting an anemone for that pair of clown

I would say a whole roll of 50 over your tank would allow you to grow anything and everything.

50 1w led on a 15 gallon? isnt that a little to much? i dont even think i can even fit 50 in the hood of that tank. tank dimensions is 14x14x24

my 30g ran 1x250wMH + 4x24w T5HO.....

im going to see how this setup goes. the old setup wasnt as bright as this one and the corals seems to be doing fine on growing and spreading. next upgrade will be the 1w led just not sure of how many

Its only overkill if you are trying to keep low light corals. But the pimp corals are all mod-high light.
