Like I said you got to fix that. Won't look good. What type of corals will help determine light.

I want some sps and soft corals. Since this tank is drilled thru the back instead of the bottom, how do you suggest I do the overflow box? Two pvc pipes coming straight up is a BIG eye sore so I really would like to fix this.

That's what I was thinking, but James from global leader aquatics said I was better off with some T5 lighting to reduce heat and save electricity. He said the advantage of going with MH was minimal compared to using the T5.

Everyone's opinion on lights are different but the electricity difference isnt that large plus T5 you need will VHO which have a life of about 6 months compared to 9 months for MH and you will need less bulbs. MH give the shimmer effect but T5 you can customize the color better

I would get an overflow box put in around it. This will hide them and you don't have to have it drilled on the bottom

Another option is just to stack the rocks and hide them that way.
