BRS dual reactor

just got my shipment in from BRS. i order the dual gfo/carbon reactor. was wondering how much of each do i use for an 40g with 30g fuge. theres about 60g of water in there. and the phosban reactor is going to be used for purigen. do i just fill that up with purigen or is there a amount to use

almost all of the tube you want to leave room for the grains to be fluid. It doesnt matter how big your tank is.

For the purigen, find yourself a more dense foam for the top or bottom, or place it in a mesh bag. It's too fine otherwise

the mesh bag is not a good idea you want it to be fluidized but like andrew said make sure the filter insert is fine enough or it will snow in your tank lol
