how to cure or make container fish water safe

I found a 10g jug container with cap and wanted to use it for my salt water don't know what was in there, is there any wat I can make it fish /water safe, ,,,rinsing,curing, etc

Hot water. Maybe some AmQuel+ for its detoxification purposes. DO NOT use soap. Again, no soap!
