Ro/di unit dont know wich one to buy

I am looking to get my unit from BRS and dont know wich one would suit me better since i am new to this SW stuff

tanks are a 55g and a 20g i would be using

4 stage plus with tds $169
5 stage plus $199

Depends on your current TDS level in your water. The more stages the better generally because its one more stage that the water has to pass through before getting to your RO membrane. So the less contaminants that reach it the longer it will last.

You want a 5-stage but one with Chloramine removal, it's much more useful for Houston and vicinity.

I had the 2nd one for a while, one day I called BRS and they said to add the chloramine stage.

I got this same one 3+ years ago. Still reading 0ppm after 3 different SW tanks and weekly water changes.

I got lucky and ordered it on sale. If you don't have a TDS meter, this unit is a must.

P.s. should I post pictures of miggy's tank as proof?
