Guppies are a go but I've heard barbs get a lil nippy as they get older.

Guppys would be Okey But Barbs are not. they are nippers and that will stress the angels. These are the last ones and are small. but should grow fast. I no longer breed this strain but they should breed true.

What size are your fish? Do angels breed as easily as guppies? Cichilds? How many are you giving me?? They are SO pretty! THANK YOU!

This is one of the angels I had in my last aquarium which was over 6 years ago. :( They were about the size of a round tostito corn chiip. lol NOT the bite size kind, the regular tostito rounds. :) I had used this photo as an avatar on a forum I was on back then. hence the boarder and edging! :)

Is that Magnum canister sufficiently rated for a 55G? I've got a couple of AC110s sitting in the garage, but one of those might be overkill for a 55G and the fish going into the tank. Plus, I'm down in Sugar Land.

It should be per. on a 55g.

This is one of the angels I had in my last aquarium
            very pretty marble angel.

The Angels I am gifting you are about 1" to almost 2" they are still Juv. and can grow to be as big as 7" but will be 4 1/2 to 5 in. pretty good size.
they souldn't start trying to pair up for about 6 to 8 months.

If you would like cichlid fry they are right at 1". I have venustus and rustys right now. They would work with angels but not sure how long for the rustys they only get to 3 1/2 or 4 " but hold their own.
My fish have more personality than you

The fuss said that it will be ok to add fish 2-night! Some gold angels are being donated as well and I think they would look so pretty together!

55gal I like very little substrate though. So your sand might be enough. I need to go through this thread and see who has gifted what. I am going to do that right now. Someone had said they had substrate but I don't know what kind it is and if it is already established. (is your sand established?) I would love a big piece of drift wood! Do you have pics of it and your rocks?? Thank you SO much!!! :)
