From eyeballing a canopy, it shouldn't be too hard to make. I plan on making one for my 100g in the future when funds are so low.Comment

Its more time consuming than you think to build your own. There is alot of planning that needs to go into a build if you want it to look super clean. I was going to build my own hood but decided to buy a used one until I have the extra time to deal with it. Now I know why it seems so expensive to have it built.
