I'm looking for shells that are smooth and have a large enough opening for shell dwellers.

escargot shells can be had for cheap on amazon.

crazybmx and some others have had good luck finding them at specs.

Michaels has a good selection of variety bags of shells. Maybe 5 bucks gets you a bag of 30 shells, maybe 15 of which are good enough for shellies. Just boil them beforehand and you're good.

Yes go to specs and snag u a bag for like 10.00 you get about 36 good size all useable shells. Some stores may not have them but they can be ordered and sent to ur closest store
