River rock substrate?

  • Wanted: River rock substrate?

    I'm looking to do a hill stream and more or less looking at a river rock like substrate or something similar. No gravel but if it's more pebble like then send me pics via pm. Thanks

    I have a whole bucket full of small river stones, they're bigger than gravel but still small. PM your number for pics

        Not taking anything away from the others but lowes and homedepot sell pea pebble and river rock in 50lb bags. Something like 4-5 bucks a bag. Just wash and it's good to go.

              I'll have to look into that. Didn't know they sold them buy the pound. What department would they be in? I just wanna go look and see if it's what I want.

                  Lawn and garden outside. That's where I get all of my stuff cause it's cheap!!! That and rock yards.

                        I ain't an artist!! Some are larger natural tone some are the black smooth rocks. For what your looking to do with the stream idea.... I think they got you covered.

                        Ask me to paint a picture, you crazy. I can't draw a decent line.
