                    It costs about 400-500 just to buy materials to make a DIY fixture that size for reef lighting with Cree LEDs. I think Citypets was selling led pendants that mimic a 250 watt halide pendant. I want to say they were like 200$ ea

                      It doesn't have to be reef bright but at least a double bright anybody tried the beamswork LEDs yet ?

                        Tried eBay panels? Those things are really cheap. Add a heat sync and I guess it would be fine.

                          I'm upgrading to Ecoxotic Cannons so I might have something for sale, if you're running either glass tops or are able to retrofit onto a canopy.

                            I ended up going with the Marineland single brights on the tank I got from you. With those and a change to the background the tank is well lit for fish only. Definitely wouldn't work for a planted tank, but great for what I needed.
