Yeah last time I picked up 5lbs bag pretty cheap but they have been sold out for a while. 20 lbs would overfill my 6 gallon hahaComment

Depending where in Rosharon you live, there's a Tractor Supply Co. in Alvin about 30 mins away. They sell Black Diamond (sand-blasting sand) it comes in 20-40 which is more coarse and 30-60 which is finer. It's a 50lb bag for about $6-7. It's made of crushed coal slag, but it'll be fine in your tank. Just make sure to wash it a bit like any other new substrate. I have 100lbs of it in my 100gal and it's really nice and cheap too! Make sure not to get any on yourself, especially the eyes, it will irritate you like no other!Comment
