Is it feasible to lower the water volume, giving him less room to run?

+1 or just learn to work the net better? I had no problem catching fish with net in a such a small tank. Now in a 180g+... that's a different story...

I would love to see some one try to catch this fish. To really catch this fish I would have to drain my tank to 10%, and take out 60% of my live rock. What's a bicolors Favorite food! I will try one more time.

I moved a fish not too long ago. I had to put the net in the tank, feed them on the surface, and when it was close enough to the net I turned the lights out and scooped him from below. I used the lights as a distraction and it gave ne just enough time.

+1 I've used this same technique. Try catching fish in a 420 gallon tank, it isn't easy but I've got it down to a science.....LOL I have these sheets of clear plexiglass that I put in the tank to herd them into an area that is easiest for me. It cuts their swim space down and makes it alot easier to catch. Hope that helps...

The bottle work! IT WORKED! The bottle worked but I had to cut the lip of the bottle off. He can't resist himself when there is brine shrimp. I have to say my clown fish was smart but my wrasse was dumb, it went inside the bottle like 10 times.
