Wanted: Penguin 170 intake extension

I have an old hob 170 and iv lost the extension tube over the years and need another. Looking for the coupling piece and tube. I do have the strainer.

I checked City Pets while I was looking for the biowheel and I didn't see any parts for the Penguin 170. The parts might've been hidden behind all the other parts though. Even called Marineland and they said they have the wheel in stock, but they emailed me saying they don't...

I might be able to make something work from HD. Gotta love that place !!

Yeah I've seen them before online. I have a Penguin 170 as well but no extension tubes. Just that tube that runs from the impeller and the strainer.

Their good hob filters , i like how they made the newer ones with two cartridge slots. Yep think ill try hd and see what i can do

Definitely good HOB filters. I just dumped the cartridge and stuck a coarse sponge and tossed a bag of ceramic rings on it.
