Do you know if this will shorten to fit on a 30" wide tank? I'd like to replace my 36G bowfront with something down the road, but I don't want to have to buy two light fixtures.

The legs are adjustable, yeah. Should be able to take it down to 30" Not sure if Id recommend it, a whole lot of light will be outside of the tank
