  • Wanted: RO/DI water in Houston NE

Looking to buy RODI water for my SW tank in the NorthEast part of town, near Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita Area.

Will be investing on an RODI unit soon hoping to buy a few gallons near me for now.

    Thanks!!!

Watermill express. I think it's 35 cents for a gallon and $1.75 for 5G? Pretty cheap and readily available in a lot of locations

I had the watermill water tested and it was at 45 tds, may not be good for some applications

We usually just buy distilled water, but only use it for soft freshwater applications

Must have been the one you went to. The one by my house has very little to no tds. Perfect for fw or reef. Been using it for my Pico and no ill effects so far.

What part of town are you in? Maybe they maintain those units more frequently!

NW Houston. The one I go to is indeed maintained frequently. There's a ton of people over here who use that one for drinking purposes and they always have a guy there changing the filter every week. What you can do is buy a gallon and test the TDS. If it's nice and low, you'll have your water source until you get your RO/DI unit. If not, you can always drink it!
