  • For Sale: 55 gallon cycled and complete Saltwater tank for sale - $250

I am selling a 55 gallon acrylic tank that is currently set up as saltwater. I had been using this for a mantis shrimp that died during a move =( and am switching to a reef style and smaller tank.

This is fully cycled and has a very deep crushed coral substrate for the mantis shrimp to burrow in. There is some live rock, about 10-20 pounds that I had arranged as a den for the shrimp. It has a dual T5 48" fixture that currently has dual actinic bulbs that give off a very deep blue color. This would be sufficient for fish or even some less photosynthetic corals (leather corals, etc). There is an SEIO powerhead and canister filter, both of these give a nice amount of flow to the tank and are completely silent (my favorite feature of this tank).

The mantis shrimp lived perfectly in this tank for two years and I would replace him except I have some maroon clownfish that I want to be breeding and don't need a tank this form factor or style. This is a great tank for a fish only tank, and could be upgraded to host a full reef tank.

With any questions or to come by and see it, please email or call/text four 6 nine - 8 three one - 88 two 8

Dropping price to $200, this is a great tank for saltwater or freshwater fish. I would suggest putting a mantis shrimp in it, as acrylic tanks aren't cheap, but you could use this for a fish only tank with zero modifications or a reef tank by adding a skimmer.

Let me know if you have any questions.

        Tank and stand are sold.

        What is left:

Lights - Dual T5 fixture 48", bulbs are working but are both actinics. I'd suggest replacing the bulbs in about a month or so. $20
Canister Filter - 264 gph, runs silently and works great but I'm switching to a skimmer. I'll throw in a full pack of unused cut your own filters. $40
Powerhead - SEIO powerhead, love how silent this is. It affixes magnetically and holds on tanks great. Don't know GPH, but this and the canister provided plenty of flow in my 55g. $20

40 LBs of crushed coral substrate that is cycled. This gave about 2.5-3 inches of coverage on the 55 gallon aquarium. $20 if you bring your own container, $25 if I'm providing the buckets.
