For Sale: ~150g tank w/29g sump w/enclosed solid wood stand plus extra tanks

i have been been a long time aquarium owner, starting from 20g and have moved up over about 20 years to this one. But I am planning on moving by the end of the year and this needs to go, selling super cheap to move quickly. I will be building a 500g tank in a wall of my new house. Going to buy everything new.


Anyways this his tank has been empty since hurricane IKE, so all the water had dried up but the salt and use to be live rock is still there. Including about 6 bags of crust coral. It has one over flow with bottom exit, protein skimmer, a few pumps below, one has a cracked housing that I repaired with epoxy but I would replace it. It has home made lights in the top, nothing special. There is bio-balls in the sump. It has a older style uv light that was working.


Here are a few pictures and two videos from when it was running below. It has lots of dried salt everywhere so it's dirty as he'll right now. Needs new hinges because the ones are rusty from the salt. Tank upper/lower is leak free.
First 400obo bucks takes it, need it gone soon because I am remodeling the house and it's in the way now.

I have been asked if the tank has any scratches, I don't think there was any.


The tank is glass NOT acrylic


i also have about 3 ~50g glass tanks, no overflows that I am willing to sell fairly cheap.

I had a few more questions about the tank and dimensions. It seems I was told wrong about the volume, seems to be about 115g with a 29g sump, below is a reply to a PM I sent.


the stands wood and finishe will all need some sort of repair, some of the wood has cracked because of years of service, the finish is 90% good with a few area where salt has damaged it. Will need to be lightly sanded then restained. The cracks can all be repaired with wood glue and a good clamp. I have done a decent amount of wood work and I think it would take about a day or two to repair everything including the finish. The hinges all work but pretty rusty, can't see this rust from the outside.


It comes with top tank, when I bought it I was told 150g but after a few people asked about dimensions it seems to be more like 115g tank w/one over flow with bottom exit. With a 29g sump. NO Leaks
