  • For Sale: Rehoming fish and selling tanks: 60gal+stand & 29gal

Heyo. North West Houston, here. The latest storms and power outages have made me realize that the best thing I can do for my fish is to try to rehome them to someone who has more time and resources. I'd been trying to do better with them after dealing with a lot of health issues, but it's not what they deserve. I've never had to rehome animals before, so this is a hard decision. Sale of the tanks/equipment obviously depends on the rehoming of the fish first, or at the same time. I'm not trying to make profit off this, to be clear, but I am not giving these away for free. If you are interested in the equipment or fish or both, lmk and I can send you pictures of the tank(s) and you can make me an offer.

    Here's the equipment available:
    60gal
    • 60gal Marineland glass tank with original hood
    • 2 fluorescent strip lights, working, with extra lights
    • variety of naturalistic fake plants
    • PennPlax canister filter
    • Sponge filter and air pump, tubing, check valve
    • light colored tan/quartzish small gravel
    • 90gal stand, honey oak veneer, all raw edges sealed with silicone
    29gal
    • 29gal TopFin glass tank with fluorescent strip light
    • black gravel with a bit of neon gravel mixed in
    • HOB filter
    • Sponge filter and air pump, tubing, check valve
    • Some struggling anubias that was doing well before the power outages the last couple months
