  • WTB 55 Gallon Tank

I came home from fishing last night only to find one of my used tanks has developed a leak.

I'd like to replace it with another used or new 55 gallon tank immediately.

Let me know if someone close or fairly close, has one they could part with.

    Thanks

I have a 20 gallon sick tank I can use to keep my fish in while I find and set up another (preferrably) 55.

But thanks for your kind offer. I'm undecided for sure, about what to do with the 55 at this time.

I have the worlds uggliest 55 sitting on my front porch if you want to borrow it untill..............
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

I appreciate the offer PP, but I think I already have an emergency back up plan.

            Thanks

I might be getting rid of my second 55. theres no room to reach into it from the bottom of my double stand so its just sitting there holding excess decorations and tubing.

I do appreciate the offer, but I'll either buy a new 55 gallon that matches my stand and light, or accept a FL's offer to use her 75 gallon....

                Thanks

For education purposes, where did it start to leak from? This is my worst fear.

Along the front right side of the tank, about 8 inches up from the bottom, it appears that a chip was responsible for weakening the integrity and after some time, the seal has failed. I can reseal and plug the empty area where the chip is, and it can be reused.

It was not much of a show tank anyway.
