Gotticgs, I know what you are going for, but I want to be honest with you. A giraffe is going to outgrow your tank, I have seen hoover and jr and in honesty, they are being kept in a 240 (8ft) and a 210 (7ft) and they still look a little cramped in there.. I believe (geeks will jump in here in any second) and will tell you they measure 25 inches and 21 inches, and they need all the depth of tank to turn correctly. If I owned a giraffe cat I would say please have a tank that is at least 30" deep.
I have Petrocola's and they get only to be about 6" in length and they like working as a colony and do a GREAT job at cleaning the sand.
I think personally you would be much happier getting yourself 3-6 Synodontis Petrocola's (Tanganyika) or Synodontis Multipunctatus (Malawi)..

You can keep them in a smaller tank when they are smaller. Takes them a while to grow too. Contact phan222001 for a good deal.I ate my fish that died.
