WTT: Mag12

I have a mag12 that I would like to trade for a Mag9.5

Seeing how the trade is a bit lopsided I would prefer to have a new 9.5. Only need the pump itself, no pre-filter or anything like that.

I have a mag 9.5 in my 135 sump now, but I think a mag 12 would overtake the overflow....

Its not new, but I have all the parts, box, etc..

Yes, I'm posting to see if you have any suggestions for how I could implement a mag12 without it over taking my Eshopps800. If so, then sure I'll trade. The pump is 6-7 months old. I bought in September/October.

Well the 800 is weak so I would probably say you would have to throttle this bad boy down quite a bit.

I have a 1200gph rated oveflow and it works but kinda pushes the limit. I am wanting to go with less flow through the wet/dry for the mangroves to have ample time to do their thing and don't like the idea of having to valve it down.

Plus I think I have a decent amount of filtration on the tank as it is.

The overflow before you got your new box from Kyle, is that what was rated for the 1200gph that was rated for the mag12? If so, will you still need it? If not, what about swapping for my Eshopps 800?

I know its lopsided, we could work something out to even it up.
