Does anyone on the NW side have any java moss they'd be willing to donate or sell?

Re: I'd like some Java moss
I'm on the NE side. If you can come out for the next LHA meeting (Friday Oct 6th @ 7pm I think), I can give you some Java moss or Christmas Moss. I have more of the christmas than the java.

Re: I'd like some Java moss
That sounds great! Where exactly are the LHA meetings held?
I have gotten conflicting info on christmas moss -- some sources say it likes warm waters while others say it prefers cooler water. Some sources say it has high light requirements while others say it does fine with low light. What has been your experience with growing conditions for christmas moss?Bacteria: the only culture some people have

You can find more info and a map on the LHA meetings here:
And more info here:

If I did that right.
Both of my tanks stay at about 76-78 deg. The 75 has 3.2 WPG and the 55 has 2.9 WPG, so I have a decent amount of light. The Christmas moss seems to grow better for me than the Java. I have well water, and do inject a small amount of co2 in each tank. I've pulled most of both mosses from the 55, because it was taking over and not allowing light to get to the other plants.75gal heavy planted tank
