i am buying a 215 soon and i was looking to get a 2260 or 62 to run it dous anybody have some they arent using?

These are typical filters people are always looking to keep, and not sell.

I might have a 2250 that I may not be using, but it is not anything like your looking for without purchasing a 1260 or 1262 pump and the pump inlet nozzle.

and I just passed along a 1260.

I've been modifying the 2250 setups with the 1260/1262 pumps. All you have to do is purchase the pump and the pump inlet nozzle that goes from tank lid to the pump for the 2260/2262 canister. Then also change to the 594 tubing for discharge arrangement.

It makes it easier at cleaning time, and less media to purchase for setup, but with the 1260/1262 pumps you still get tha FLOW!!!

Yeah it is only like 12-13L or something instead of the 18L like the 2260.

But it's easier to move around less water, less media etc...

The Pro 3 rated for 300 gallons at 450gph
The Pro 3 2080 Holds : 12L to 1.5L in prefilter = 13.5L total

Pro3e Rated for 185 gallon Aquarium at 490 gph [max flow setting]
The Pro3e 2078 Holds : 8L to 0.6L in prefilter = 8.6L

Eheim 2250 rated for 265 gallon Aquarium at 264 gph
Holds : 12L of media

So...my point is that even though the 2250 only holds 12L of media, that is still the same or more, and with a 1260 or 1262 pump it will still be rated for 300+ gallon aquarium.
