WTB from members or stores very quickly

Hi, got bit the Tropheus bug, and got 8 Red Chimba who are between 2.5 and 3 inches long. They are the only ones in the tank at the moment and well I need fish to help take and pass around some of the aggression.

Some fish I was thinking of:

Some Lamprologus ocellatus 'gold'

Eretmodus cyanostictus 'blue spot' a pair (1 male and 1 female) perferable

more Chimba that are between 2" to 3.5" inches WC, F1, F2 not a problem

Ikolas between 2" to 3" WC, F1, F2 not a problem about 10 of them

So if you know someone selling them, member or shop please let me know.

check out Ultimate Fish. they usually have pretty good tropheus. Also, Extreme carry's them.

This post was to partly to ask if any had seen some while touring the shops since when I lived in the southern part of Houston, I use to take a tour on Sat or Sun, just to see what was new.

You could also PM Geoff_Tropheus and see if you can go ahead and get on his waiting list for Trophs. He sells fry regularly. I know he's got Ikola...not sure about Chimba though.

I have Ikola Fry & juvie gold occelatus

Heads up, he's only got a 55 gallon tank, so there's not a lot of room for adults & large numbers. I had previously only recommended Geoff's Ikola, but now knowing that Honkzz is selling (my) fry () I recommend that too!

Yes at full adults looking at about 16 pushing 18.

With 2 gobies and some shells feel the tank would be full.

h0nkzz you say you have some juvie gold occelatus, I would be interested in that.

With a 55 gallon tank I would not have more than 12-14 Adults with 10X filtration rate.

With fish that are 2-3" you could probably handle 18-25, but you need to be looking to put them in a 75 or larger aquarium within 6 months.

I would refrain from impulsing with Tropheus.... also like geoff stated the tank is a bit limiting for tropheus moreless trying to add a mix of fish in there.

Most fish HFB will offer are juvis or fry.

I'm suprised jeebus didn't suggest it but Extreme Fish has trophs too but the price is not so friendly and some of the fish are not that great looking but for the most part they are nice fish.
