Free tanks!!!

Not sure if it's here in houston but everywhere else petco has a sale where you buy a stand and get a free tank!


I'm on my way to find out and maybe come home with a bowfront for my little zebra plecos.

I was in the PETCO on 290 and W 43rd a week or so ago (for dog & cat food) and as always, I took a walk through their fish area just to remind myself why I don't buy fish there. I noticed they had a very limited selection of tanks where they normally have their larger tanks and boxes of tank ornaments, etc. just sitting around.  It made we wonder if they are going to cut back on their inventory in the fishy area.  Possibly not carry the larger tanks anymore?

Checked it out and it was ok nothing spectacular. Almost walked out with a 38g bowfront but couldn't justify the oak stand and the black ones were damaged or non-existant.

I do have my eye on a 72g bowfront in which the stand is $269 so the tank is free, tried petsmart but their bowfronts are glass and not as nice looking.

Do the bowfronts also come with the cover? Do you know how long this deal is going on for?

you said the bowfronts at petsmart are glass... so are the bowfronts at petco acryllic?

Yeah all-glass brand but the ones at petco are acrylic. Think the sale goes till this weekend, petsmart isn't a bad deal if you get them to match cause that would make the 28g bow only $100.

Not sure if the top is included but it would seem so, pretty much what you can get away with.
