Where can I buy juvenile calvus or compricesseps locally ?

Most LFS carry them... just not the chain stores. Ultimate Fish, Fish R Us, Extreme, HAW, Fish Ranch, Fish Gallery...
If I were you, I'd call around and see if anyone has exactly what you are looking (for the price you want to spend). You can find a map of various LFS here:

Ultimate Fish has the best looking Calvus in Houston (in my opinion) but you're gonna PAY for them. TNT Fish has really nice Comps but i havent been out there in a while. Xtreme Fish usually has juvie Calvus, but his are pricey as well. He has some AMAZING Comps in a large tank with a bunch of Petros but he wont sell them....
Good luck with your search, and please be sure when they tell you that you're buying a Calvus, make sure its a Calvus...i fell for it once and ended up with a $50 Compressicep.If it ain't wild caught
