On the way to Quintana Beach. Take 288 south all the way until it ends and veers off to the left. Then you will see marshland and lots of water on both sides of the street. Just make sure you have a fishing license with a saltwater stamp. If you continue on the street then take your first right, that will take you to the beach. If you take the very last turn to you right before you hit the beach, that street will take you near some tidal pools that are usually LOADED with shrimp, crab and killifish.PLECOS SUCK!

It's brackish, and the water on the sides of the street is only VERY mildly brackish at that. Should be fine. In fact, I have found tadpoles there, and amphibians barely tolerate any salinity in their water. The water in the tidal pools will be saltier.PLECOS SUCK!
