      Re: Pleco wanted

I would think the orange would be too sweet for the pleco to like, they seem to like stuff with not so much sugar, as was stated earlier, cucumbers and yams.. I know one guy who feeds his actual pickles but I think that one might be unique.

Ohyeah, if you go to Just Fish Tomorrow, tell them the used car salesman sent you over =)

        Re: Pleco wanted

im still planning on going to look, i'll tell them if i go.

        whats a yam??

my plecos still lighter in colour - but i was thinking, does its pigment change with the substrate? he went from black gravel to yellow sand.

          Re: Pleco wanted

yam = sweet potato = best vegetable on earth.

If you go in the afternoon time I might see you up there, but I'm going to be down south of houston for the first part of the day.

I'll be there around 4-5ish, and you only say sweet potatos are nasty because you haven't cooked them correctly, I will teach thee the way =)

                Re: Pleco wanted

Yeah his color would also try to match the substrate. it is a thing some do, but mostly to tell you something is wierd or their timidity.

well hes finally back to his old self, swimming around sucking on the glass.
He is actually eating the squash now, his colour is still light but he looks healthy to me.
