Okay, okay, I can't pass them up! Are you looking for any particular type of plant? Stem plant, rosette, fern, etc...?
some sort of crypt would be nice or windelov fern or a wierd looking fern. im open to pretty much whatever. i dont really need much more stem plants though.
I figured you had enough stem plants. Â :) Â I have bolbitis, but I think you just got some of that? I don't have much variety right now, have a few crypts, but not sure what kind, as I got the original plants years and years ago. Of course, I also have $4. I'll take a look at what I have tonight, and try to take some pictures so you can see them.
I have some bolbitis that I can trade with you, sure! I also have some bolbitis herteroclita (not sure if I spelled that right) that's interesting, but haven't found a good place yet to establish it in one of my tanks, so I don't know much about what it likes. I'd be happy to give you a bit of that, too. Let me know, I can always drop by your work again, if that would work?
rrocket2002, yeah the whiptail has a new home already.
mzungu, i will take the ferns. i do not know how old the cories are, i had them for maybe a month and one came from village(panda) and the other came from tropical emporium. i am off tomorrow, doctor's order but i could meet you up after traffic dies down over there somewhere.
Sounds great! I'll give you a call later on this evening, about 6:30 or so? I still have your number in a PM here. I don't have a lot of ferns to spare, but I'll definitely give you enough to start with. If you want, I can also throw in a crypt or two. I have a couple, they look similar to beckettii, but I'm not positive what they actually are.
just the ferns is fine i dont have much room for much else in my tank so i have to limit myself to what i put in there and the bolbitis will go great in my upcoming tropheus tank.
I was looking at the "rusty" cory last night, and thought it looked a LOT like a rabauti (one of my favorite cories, by the way ) so I just looked up rusty cory on planetcatfish, and it turns out that's the common name for rabautis! I know this won't matter to you any more, but just wanted to say thanks!
After acclimating them, I put them in their tank and turned off the lights so they wouldn't be too stressed out. So I haven't fed them yet. I'm going to do so when I get home, but I was just wondering if you were feeding them anything special?
