    Gambusia Affinis - Western Mosquitofish

I have a buddy with a small pond who's looking for a couple dozen. Any one know of a local source?

    Thanks,
    Don

Local source = any permanent or mostly-permanent body of water. Truthfully. They're everywhere.

Nelson's Water Gardens in Katy used to have them from time to time.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

Are you planning on coming to the collection trip this Sunday? I'm sure even if you're not planning on staying, you can drop by with a bucket and we can give you some. Seriously, they are everywhere. If you're not sure what they are, just look for some small fish next time you're by a bayou or any body of water. Those little fish you see are going to be mosquitofish 99 times out of a hundred. :) Your friend can't claim laziness if all he has to do is scoop a net into the water once or twice.

Can't make the collection trip, going to Aggieland to spend the weekend with Christina. Might have to dip a net in a couple local ponds. I'll make him buy the beer and carry the bucket...LOL
