personally, i would get a pink female, this way you get the chance to get calico offspring

the calico or marble convict is a recessive gene. both parents have to have it in order for you to get it. breeding a black con with pink will not work.
here is a video in which Marbled Marvin makes a camera apperance at 1:39. he's barely 2" and already has a nice nuchal hump. sorry if anyone gets offended by the language in the background. hit mute.
