  • WTB: 125, 135 or 150 gallon Oceanic with cherry colored oak stand

I am getting some more fish and I need to upgrade my 75 gallon aquarium. I am looking to buy a used or new 125, 135, or 150 gallon Oceanic aquarium with the cherry colored oak stand. RR would be nice but not required. It has to be the same color as the one pictured below to match my existing aquariums that are in the same room. Please pm price and pics if available. It has to be 72" long.

I would get the 210 that Mike is selling and then go to Andy at Fishland and have his builder make a stand for you in cherry.

          Geoff,

All the tanks in my study are Oceanic with cherry colored oak stands. I just want everything to match, plus I really like the Oceanic oak stands. They are more decorative than pine IMO.

The stands are nice that his builder builds. I understand what your asking, becuase all of mine except the 300 gallon are built by his builder so they would match and look good.

Try giving Manuel a call at Leo's Tropical fish, its in Traders Village, but his markup is really really low.

the next 6 footer i buy will definatly be oceanic cherry.
they are very decoritive, and very showy compared to my pine stand, dont get me wrong though, i do love my 42" tall custom pine stand, but its just not very decoritive, i will eventually stain and seal it.

The pine stands that Andy's builder builds are not plain Jane stands. He does add some trim and nice fixtures to the stands.

                  Something like this one.....?

I just picked it up this morning, I still have to confirm there are no leaks....the tank is about 8 yrs old.

The stand is in close to mint condition, even has cut outs for RR tank.

I was lucky enough to get a few "extras" with the deal.

Sorry Al, did not intend to clutter your thread.....

I'm wasn't planning on it...was thinking of upgrading from my oak to cherry wood, but if I change my mind anytime soon, I'll let you know.

I just posted the pics because I saw your thread and wanted to show folks what you were looking for...and because I was still excited about it since I just picked it up.
