Fish tanks for sale anyone???

Im looking for a couple of 10 gallon tanks, or a 20-30 gallon tank.
With or without filter/canopy etc.
Cheaper the better, let me know what you have and where you live.
North Houston preferred.

Houston aquarium society had 10 G. tanks for $6.00 (brand new). Check with them if they have any left.

inwood fish has 10g tank/top/stand and filter i believe for $35

Flea markets! Flea Markets!

I was at Trader's Village off Eldridge and 290 this past weekend and walked away with (3) 10g tanks w/o lids, (1) HOB filter for up to 20g, (2) 50w heaters, (2) gravel vacuums, (3) air pumps, tubing and various meds. and chems. for a whopping $16.50.........

I'm gonna use it all, but I was mostly shopping for used heaters.

That's correct.  It is only open on Sat. and Sun.

Its a nice Flea Market.  I go there once every other month or so.  

Now the Flea markdet in Pearland, don't go looking for a tank there.  The people there were asking prices that were crazy.  I told one person that I could buy one tank cheaper brand new for the price he was asking, but still insisted........"Adios" I told him.

By the way, that's the location of Leo's Tropical Fish.  Not much selection on fish, but he's a nice guy.

Well im probably going to go to traders village this weekend, i hadnt thought about picking up any tanks there.

I bought a 5 gallon plastic tote from walmart with a lid for $3. im going to cut the lid and use an airpump,i think it will work.

There lots of difference size totes aswell, so if it works i'll buy some bigger totes as grow out tanks. A HOB filter will fit aswell if you cut the lid right. So you can have a 5-30 gallon tank for less than $10.(plus filter)

That's good to know....I didn't think they would still have any left and that's a nice option.  I wonder how many they have leftover?

At any rate, the reason I metioned the Flea Market is you can sometimes find sweet deals on small to medium size tanks.  And you can Haggle on the price.  Most people cushion their asking price because they know someone like me will want to negotiate and keep in mind that if they actually toted that tank, stand, or accessories there to sell........they don't want to have to take it back.

There are a couple of pet stores there too.  One usually has parrots and sugar gliders for sale.

Where are the tanks kept/for sale? I'll pick some up if theyre not too far out of my way.

Lol, a fish room. Apart from the bedroom, i have a kitchen, a living room, and a very small dining room.
Not all of us have big garages like someone i wont mention.
