55g ish Tank w/small leak near lid

Hello, I'd like to offer up a 55g w/ a small leak at the top near the lid up for someone who has a truck and a buddy who can help them pick it up.

Tank only. No lid/ filter/ lights or anything. I received this from another Fish Boxer who had painted the back black. The guy told me it was a 55g. Eh, I would disagree it is taller and a bit wider than another 55g I had. However, it measures out to be 55g. So there you go.

I'm setting up another tank today and should have it cleared out by tomorrow if someone can pick it up tomorrow late afternoon.

I live in an apartment with a walk up. I will be happy to get it down the stairs, but It will probably be a good idea to bring a buddy to help situate it in your truck.

I got it for free and would like to offer it for free. However, if you feel inclined to gift me some java fern or RCS. I will accept them graciously.

PM me if your interested. I got my hands full watching my three little ones while doing tank set up so I'll check in as often as I can for responses.

how bad is the leak? i might be interested!

Not bad at all. I notice it only loses water when condensation builds up under the glass top i have laid on top. I had a canopy on it at one time and it NEVER leaked. I believe it is the actual trim at the top that is causing it to let out a few drops.

I've had it for almost a year. I've never had more than a few drops come out at it's fullest with the glass top. Like I said never with the canopy. I figured someone who is more knowledgeable about tanks would see the problem and fix it right away. However, these are my observations as a novice. I would never imply I know what exactly is going on. I just want to give as much information that I can. From the information I have.

my trim on my 75g leaked, condensation can build up under the trim and cause water drops to leak out from under the trim if the trim wasnt sealed correctly, i popped off the trim, and resealed the trim back on, and never leaked again.
whole process took around 2 hours.
