are you fresh or salt? I ahve a 150g fresh and I use only 9w, and ebvent then part time...I got mine online at a great price...

the JEBO UV filters on ebay work great. 13 watts for 50 bucks. replacement bulbs are easy to find also

2 9 watt bulbs shipped for 20 bucks.

Had mine for almost 2 years now. works great
