    Free Trimmings

    Ok so I got the tank set up, and some extra stuff is left over, all these plants were free to me from generous hobbyists so they are free to you as well. I don't know plant names.. so what I did was took two pictures to show where I trimmed them from vs how much I trimmed.

    Not pictured in the tank is the Java fern plants, I decided not to put them in the tank this go-round it.. I just never got attached to them, some people like them, some don't, I'm one of the latter, so you can have all 100% of them.

    I know there is only one sprig of plant "A" if you want more I could pull a couple more bigger pieces out, anyways, if you want them call my cell 713 884 0939 and we'll set up a time for you to get them, I live on the NE side of town (crosby) but I work in DT, You can meet me at either place =)

    i dont think that plant in the center of the second picture is java fern but it is some sort of stem plant.

      Oh krap why did I call it that..

      It's Hornswort.. I honestly don't know what the heck I was thinking.. It's too early in the morning =)

        I'm certainly interested!  I've just set up a new tank and it's got minimal in it.  I have tons of Anachris (which the crays love to eat) but I'm sick to death of it.  I pass thru Crosby on my way home from work so maybe we can hook up if you've still got it available.


        I see you are up at all hours of the night, so I'll PM you my number and you can call me.  I don't want to wake you up if you do shift work or something.

          Actually feel free to call me anytime, I normally sleep in the morning soon as I get home so getting together after you get off work is perfectly fine.

          Thanks for the consideration on the call though, most people don't understand why I can sound groggy at 6pm :P

            While your at it, hook him up with club info. Living in Huffman we need to get spot over to the clubhouse.

              I tried calling ya, but got voicemail which never beeped for me to leave a message (dunno if it's your phone or mine goofing up).  So if you could call me, I left my number in my PM to you.  I didn't try the callback number thing.

              Are you the guy that was up at Just Fish when I brought in some fish (including 4 of my pink Glow Danios) to trade in, and tried to convince me that the Moody Garden pic was of your tank setup??  I remember her ordering the 3 diff color glows for someone.  I noticed an older post of yours about her ordering the glows for you which is what brought this to mind.  I got 2 of the greens from her - I'll try breeding them (and the pinks) someday when I don't have a fish arrangement crisis on my hands.

                Yes, that was me =)

                I tried to find the picture online but it's saved on the computer at my house.. I'll post it up tomorrow night. I was going on and on and on about how much time it took me to set up and everything... haahahah I'm surprised you didn't bash me on the head when you found out I was joking.

                If you haven't ever been to Scotts place, you should check it out this friday, funny thing is.. you could throw a rock from your house and hit his =)
