No, they haven't been in a tank. How does $8.00 sound?

My last order was from Block-2 (200 leaves) they were all A#1 large
bundled in groups of 25. I keep them in large ziplock bags. The price was comparable and service was without par.
I will be ordering from him again.
I add java moss & 1 crushed leaf to my spawn tanks for the below mentioned benifits and they leach into the water within a few days. 2 weeks and they are organic waste. I actually put 2 whole leaves on the surface of a 10 gal tank for my blue gourami to spawn under. (big spawn)
I also hang a nylon bag of 5+/- in my 55g make up barrel and replace the leaves every month. I prefer a bare bottom grow out tank so I make a tea with 4 or 5 leaves in a 2 quart pot - boil it and let it steap overnight. then strain out the leaves. I refrigerate any unused tea. My wild bettas like a pH in the 5.0 range but the IAL will not drop it that low no matter howmany I use so I use Kent's low range controler. If you use too many leaves and the water gets too dark to suit you, you can use a diatom filter to remove the tiny particles with out removing the antibiotics or raising the pH. I like to be able to see my fish.'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
