i am selling my peacock bass sadly but surely, e-mail me at ao1149@txstate.edu if you are interested. i have had the fish for over a year since they were fry, and they have always been fed live food. i love these fish and will not let them go unless i know they are going to a good home.

they are stuck in a 55 gallon holding tank right now which they are not happy about, thats a big change from their old home but it will make it easier to catch them when the new owner gets them, reducing stress and making the move as easy as possible.

they are almost a foot in length. also they are monos. this is seen by the elongated facial structure, as well as the non fading third bar and the dark spots stretching laterally across the fish. that particular picture was taken immediatly post-feeding where the monos are more closely resembled to the ocellaris(red eye etc). the price im asking is reasonable due to the quality of these fish, as well as prime health(you would never be able to find as healthy fish as these at your LFS at this price) also for those interested and have experience with these fish i will of corse be accepting offers through PMs only please. anyone who is a fanatic of these fish know what you get yourself into, and i also will only let someone who loves, and is knowlagable about these fish take them.

you mentioned that you have only fed them live foods.. what kind?

btw if they are monos at 12" then the price is fair. they looked smaller in the pic which why i thought $150 was high.

as babies they were fed live larvae, then to rosies, from there on comets-med---lg from one specific store which i trust to have the highest quality feeders available. they like to munch on crickets every now and again or anything which finds its way into my tank. but the comets are what drive them wild and yea its more difficult in photos also to really determine but in person their true mono traits shine. im in austin going to school and they are in houston and its killing me not being with them haha ****edit yea that particular picture was taken a couple months ago, i havent had a chance to take any recent pictures but i will when i go home to check on them. also i am thinking about taking the big boy out to weigh him i have been wanting to do that for a while now.
