Are you sure you're wanting Zebra Shrimp (Potamalpheops sp.) instead of Tiger Shrimp ( Caridina cantonensis sp. "Tiger")?

      Tiger Shrimp: http://www.planetinverts.com/Tiger%20Shrimp.html

I think Fish Ranch II had some Tiger Shrimp when I went there a week ago.

          According to shrimp compatibility chart

          http://www.planetinverts.com/Will%20...nterbreed.html ,

Tigers will interbreed with Red Cherries.

Perhaps i misread, but i looked again and it seems they can be housed together, it even said so in the tiger shrimp bio.

they can be housed together but there is still a chance of cross breeding.

I think you meant Crystal Red Shrimp, Red Cherry Shrimp cannot breed with Tiger Shrimp as far as i know, theyre a different family or something...
                  And it begins...

yes i overlooked that. i thought he had crystal red shrimp. tiger shrimp come from the caridina genus and cherry shrimp come from the neocaridina genus, so they shouldnt cross breed.

My bad. I thought red crossing ("YES") on the chart means "interbreed". It turned out to be "safe to keep together".
