            60 to 80...

Personally, I'm starting to prefer 15 per 60 gallons although I have 20 per 60 gallons. It starts to look a little crowded when you have fry + 60 in a 120.

By that math, 60 would be awesome.

If the 240 is 8'x2'x2' then I say 100. A nice large round number.
Plus 100 wc bemba is absolutly pimpin'!
I really all comes down to how much you are willing to spend on filtration.
With 80+ adult Bemba I would say 3x 2262 4x maxijet 1200 with sureflow mods, and a proclear 300 wetdry with dual 1200gph overflows and a mag 24 pump.
                  FRENCH FRY!!!

In a 8ft 240 with the required Tropheus Filtration, about 80 fish.

15-20 fish per 60 gallons is the standard for 6ft tanks.

8ft can have a little more than that.

I would do 80 and let the enjoy some breathing room.

4ft tanks the standard is 12-14 fish in the first 55 gallons, then add 1 fish for every 6-7 gallons over the first 55.

Well if you getting them from who I think you are I know they are collected and drop into vats/tanks for some growing out.

                            I would get 40 then.

My personal belief is that 30-40 fish is really ideal colony size in aquaria anyway.

80 tropheus would fit in your 8ft 240 with proper filtration.

                                your good filtration wise.

Flow wise I would ditch the 1250 eheim pump for another K4 or ecco mod maxjet
