  • WTB: HOB Filter

I'm about to set up my 10g fry tank and i need a decent HOB filter. I'd like to find an Aquaclear 70 but i'm open to other offers. Let me know what you have.

    Thanks

i had an eheim liberty hob on my 20g long planed tank and it kicked but.

plus they are small and compact for their abilities much like an ac 70.

you could always just use a sponge or air pump and do frequent water changes...it would be easy on such a small tank.

            I would listen to Randell.....

But if you still want the little HOB, they are still free to you.
I ate my fish that died.

I didnt think about that. I can just set up an air stone? How often would i have to do water changes?

every other day would work depending on how much waste is in the tank(how many fish you put in there). I would put no substrate so that you can get all of the debris out with every water change.

I'm probably gonna put my big male Brichardi with a female. I need to see if i need to put more than one female in with him cuz i dont want him to kill her. i'm gonna set that tank up right now. sweeeeeeet.

ok, i set the tank up (its a hideous tank but it'll get the job done)
I put my dominant Daffodil male in with his girlfriend Daffodil. I also transfered as many fry as i could find and catch from the 125g to the 10g. Got em all set up with rocks, an air stone and a light. Now let the baby makin begin.
