:( I need to find a good permenant home for a 14 1/2 inch beautiful Red Belly Pacu. He is not your typical Pacu. He is not aggressive. We have him in a 55 gallon which is too small for him and he is in with other cichlids. He will eat feeder fish but will not eat other fish. We have small cichlids in the tank with him and he does not bother them. When we left town for the hurricane, he went with us and was kept in an ice chest for about three days. He is a survivor. When my husband cleans the tank he has to push him out of the way because he likes to rub up against you and you can actually pet him. I need to find him a home because I can not afford the upgrade to about a 125 gallon and he needs atleast that. He is silver and has a bright red belly. Perfect health and has been loved. He is about three years old. He chases my daughter back and forth across the aquarium. I hate to get rid of him and could be selfish and keep him but it is not fair to him. If you can give him a good permenant home please let me know. I need to find him a home asap. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thank You..Angela

You can give Leo's Tropical Fish a call.  He has a nice large display tank with some large Pacu.  He might take it.

I wonder how he would get along with my MBU in the 150...

I could not give you a positive answer but as long as we have had him when he was younger under a year old he killed our oscar but other than that he has never even picked on any other fish. We have small and medium fish with him now.
