thanks, Brownsnoutuk, I PMed him, but he hasnt responded.

I really need one, it is a 20 gallon long.  Any idea how much a 20 g stand @ petco/petsmart would cost?

if anyone could offer/find me one that would be great

MJY6087 you are a smart kid, might be cheaper to build with 2 x 4's. 8ft 2x4's cost 3 bucks(Home Depot) each, depending on how tall you want it, shouldn't take more than 3 of them.

Heck yeah!! You seen my rack, that is all 2x4's. The top is 2 45g and the bottom the same, so if they can hold 90g of h2o on each level, it will definitly hold a 20g.

If you need a piece of plywood for the top, I have a some extra pieces to give you, it is 1/2" plywood, and it is 4' long and 2' wide, plenty big enough for a 20L

thanks for all the input & help!

However, now that I think about it, the 20 gallon is going into a living room, and my father suggested that it be of better quality then just some 2 x4's put together.  I think he is looking for a metal stand to make it match the furniture.

                      Re: WTB: 20 gallon stand

Cool no problem, I also believe that a 20L is the same length&width as a 29 regular just not as tall and I think that if you find a metal stand you might look for it as 29/30g stand. Don't quote me on that, I am just thinking out loud, there is bound to be someone here that knows for sure. I have 20L's just not a 29 to compare it to. Good luck!

                        It is not a 20 g long, I guess you could call it a 20 g regular

I was at scotts last night and he definately still has the black 20gallon stand.
I believe it was 24" long, (maybe 12" wide?).

He may not have gotten it for one reason or another, try sending him another with 20 gallon stand as the subject.
