Rams and other rainforest fishes require soft water and a lot of extra attention here in Houston. You may want to consider rift lake chiclids.
I did see a large quanity of young Blue Rams at AquaZoo before Christmas.

Last time I looked, Fish Ranch II also had some rams. But like PhishPhreek said, they can be a challenge in our water.

Yea I realize they will be a lil more difficult but I think I can manage them. I have done a bit of research and I feel like I can handle them.

extreme fish and pets has electric blue rams, german blue balloon rams, gold rams, and regular blue rams.

the rams at FRII are not kept under any soft conditions....we use regular tap water for water changes....unless they are wild caught or if you want to breed them dont worry!!

I'll prolly just go to extreme this weekend then. When I went this past weekend fr2 only had gold and extreme only had some germans that I didn't like.

Houston Aquatics has bolivian and german rams. NICE price too. I bought some and keep them in my community tank with my tetras and barbs and they have done great almost a year now.
