  • 60gal setup for sale

:( Well guys it's looking like I'm going to have to unload my recently setup 60, the floors in my apartment don't seem to be holdin up that well, since I can now see a floor joist under the tile about a foot away from the aquarium, and I'm slowly gaining a forward lean on the tank and stand 8O

it's a 60 (48x12x24) <- I think that's the correct height with 3/8" glass with glass top and 48" flourescent light fixture, it also has what was called a built in undergravel filter, which if you were to set it up with some power heads and tubing it would work really well, it has a tetra whisper 60, and a power head set pumping at 175 gph.  The stand is oak stained pine I believe, and has a whole mess of stuff inside of it, that I was trying to sell off when I bought it, but had no takers.

I'd like to at least recoup what I put into it, so I'll be looking to get 300 for the complete setup and livestock which includes my 2 raptors (Oscars), 3 Pictus Cats, 2 Giant Danios

and since It's so heavy the buyer will need help moving this behemoth, I'll assist the buyer with it out of the apartment and to their vehicle

this blows, especially since I have grown fond of the oscars, they like me and come up to the glass to greet me, and see if I brought them any treats whenever I come into the apartment :(

I can get some, it could be removed with some time and elbow grease, all it is are pieces of glass siliconed into the corners and in the middle that sit on top of a plastic grid with screen applied on top of it, you run some tubing down the gap on the back side of the glass angles and connect to a powerhead

I haven't used it in that manner (sand substrate), although I could see how it would work if you were to use gravel
